The Fane Organization is proposing to build an iconic 46-story mixed use luxury residential tower in Providence Rhode Island, on land of the former I-195 highway.   This project, proposed as "Hope Point Tower," and more recently dubbed "The Fane Tower" by the press, is located near the intersection of Dyer and Dorrance Streets, in the heart of the Innovation District.    If the project receives the approvals necessary in order to proceed, this Tower would be the tallest in the state, providing many benefits to Providence and Rhode Island -- improving the housing stock, providing jobs, tax income, and a positive impact on the economy.    Well-designed luxurious apartments and amenities will attract residents, both from among those already living in Providence, and those attracted to the new jobs being created in the Innovation District.
